Dave Wilson launches NDP leadership run

It’s been almost 2-years since Darrell Dexter stepped down as leader of the Nova Scotia’s NDP, now the party’s leadership race is heating up.
Health critic Dave Wilson announced his intentions to head up the party yesterday in Lower Sackville.
Lenore Zann and Gary Burrill have also announced interest in taking over the helm of the NDP.
Wilson has represented Sackville-Cobequid riding since 2003.
The party currently has 5 of the 51 seats at Province House.
Maureen MacDonald has been the NDP’s interim leader since late 2013.
